Besides each character being completely cliched and possessing the depth of a kiddie pool: the jokes are extremely repetitive and became stale after the first few episodes.
All the “humor” comes from Sheldon not reacting normally to social situations, Sheldon using his vast terminological repertoire to describe something simple (see what I did there? -cue the inescapable laugh...
